Introducing our new “Off Air with MBR”, a brand new way to join a crew of like-minded mountain bikers on bike vacations across the United States. We’re excited to launch a new series of exclusive riding events around the country where we invite our listeners to ride with us, talk with us, learn with us, and generally just have a great experience.
We’re cooking up some different destination trips to awesome locations and we want you to join us. We have teamed up with Chasing Epic to offer you a 4-day, all-inclusive weekend of riding in Sedona, Arizona.
Sedona is absolutely beautiful, there’s no two ways around it. The town sits in a giant valley surrounded by unique red rock formations; the same red rock formations that give it beauty also provide some of the most epic high-desert singletrack riding anywhere. Sedona has hundreds of miles of trails right from town, and there are trails to satisfy every type of rider.
From the most technical trails you’ll ever see (HiLine and Hangover) to smooth, intermediate-level cruising singletrack, Sedona gives you options to stay busy for weeks. With such a diverse network of trails- with new stuff being added constantly- it’s imperative to have a local guide with you, which is why we work closely with the lead guides at Hermosa to make sure we’re customizing the experience to our clientele. Sedona is such a unique destination when it comes to mountain biking, it was a no-brainer to make our final seven.

Four days of all-inclusive, guided mountain biking in Sedona, Arizona with an all-access pass to everything you need to have an incredible time. We’re teaming up with Chasing Epic Mountain Bike Adventures to put together four days of riding, giveaways, and generally having a great time.

Crested Butte, Colorado – July 20-23, 2017
We have teamed up with Chasing Epic to offer you a 4-day, all-inclusive weekend of riding in Crested Butte, Colorado.
Crested Butte is truly a mecca of mountain biking, and, according to some, it’s where it all began. Dating back to the 1970’s, the town of Crested Butte has been at the forefront of the sport, and today it’s at the top of everyone’s bucket list. With hundreds of miles of trails, almost all accessible from town, there’s enough here to keep even the most avid mountain biker busy for weeks. Some of the more famous trails are the 401 Trail, Doctor Park, Teocalli Ridge, and Strand Hill.
Crested Butte has two things going for it that make it so unique: first is the town itself. One of the last true remaining “locals” towns in Colorado, Crested Butte exudes character and personality from the moment you pull up to the 4-way stop. There are no traffic lights and you’ll typically see more bikes in town than cars.
Secondly, Crested Butte sits at the intersection of several mountain valleys, which allows you to link trails together very easily. By doing this, you can do a simple 10-mile ride from downtown, or you can link together multiple trails to create an all-day 30 mile epic ride.
With Crested Butte Mountain Resort recently upping their investment in the lift-served trails on Mt. Crested Butte, this area truly has it all. By partnering with Colorado Backcountry guides, Chasing Epic is able to put together amazing itineraries that will have you licking your lips for more. But beware, the climbs in Crested Butte are for real!
